What we doRevolution

Revolution

Meeting from September to May in the Whiteinch Centre, Thursdays are the core of what Revolution is about.

Our resident registrar, Mr Neil Robertson, is on hand in the café to meet and greet you as you arrive. He will collect your 50p, stamp your hand, and generally keep an eye on things until…

…5.30pm, when everyone heads up stairs.

The p1-3s are off to the Art room, where your leaders are waiting with glue or paint or glitter –probably all three! – for you to get creative.

P4-5s go left to the green room; P6-7s go the other way - everyone into your small group with your very own leader. There may be a game or quiz or challenge awaiting you, but always the opportunity to look in the Bible to explore the topic for the night.

At 6pm, if you are in P4-7, you choose your activity for the evening – games and crafts are always on offer, but we have also run puppet workshops, an IT group and dance sessions. Meanwhile, the P1-3s hear the Bible story and play games.

At 6.30pm, everyone comes together in the hall. Here, we round up the evening with worship – usually singing but sometimes with flags too – video clips, the famous “Leaders’ Challenge” (syrup, anyone?!), sometimes a team challenge, story focus and prayer.
