A Place of Learning and Equipping
‘Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.‘ (Romans 12:2 ESV)
‘Theology is simply that part of religion that requires brains‘ G K Chesterton
Education played an important part in Celtic monasticism, and subsequently within the Scottish church. Our desire is that Whiteinch Church of Scotland would continue to ‘equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ‘ (Ephesians 4:12). We do this by helping people identify their skills, gifts, and calling, and provide access to training resources either through the church or through external organisations.
