Penny Sharp
Penny Sharp joined Whiteinch Church as Administrator in 2004 shortly thereafter taking on the role of Treasurer. She has been involved in developing and now co-ordinating the Invest Church Planters Training Course which necessitated her relinquishing the Administrator’s post in 2007. She has recently been added to the Leadership Team. Her primary involvement is with the Student Church Planters on the Invest Course because she longs to see men and women equipped to lead a multiplication of churches of different sizes, shapes and designs which can infiltrate every realm of society. An opportunity to visit Bethel Church, Redding, California, has given her renewed energy and passion to see church leaders equipped with what it takes to build and sustain Kingdom community which can maintain momentum over the long haul.
She feels honoured and privileged to belong to a church where the Holy Spirit is allowed to lead us to grasp Kingdom values which are being explored and exercised within an environment which seeks to honour and value both the individual and the community even as it keeps its eye on its prime calling to disciple the nations.
Finding time to further her interests of cycling, knitting, exploring Scotland, walking the dog, reading, spending time with friends – specially her family of married son and gorgeous granddaughter and delightful daughter - taxes the co-ordinating skills of both her and her husband, but there is much life in us yet!
